Digitalization of broadcasting, proliferation of television and radio services and media companies have created huge demand for personnel who can manage and support the technical infrastructure required for production and transmission. The course focuses on imparting practical knowledge on technologies along with theoretical concepts employed for content acquisition, production and transmission of television broadcasting. The students are given extensive hand-on experience in real working environment of most advanced technology set up in Mediaone TV. On completion of the course the students are expected to develop good understanding of broadcast workflow and operational maintenance aspects related to broadcasting infrastructure. They are expected to assume responsibilities as technical experts/ facility managers with production houses, TV channels, broadcasting stations, network operators, media institutions, marketing, servicing and in other domains of media industry.

 

Television Graphics

Intake : 3
Duration : 3 Months
Qualification : Degree/Diploma/PG in Multimedia/Animation/Graphic Design
Selection Procedure : Practical test to check competence in Graphic Design
Selection Criteria : Competence in Photoshop, 3D Max, Adobe Flash and After Effects

  • Advanced Photoshop for Television Graphics
  • Advanced After Effects for Television Graphics
  • Use of 3D Max in Television Graphics
  • Advanced Flash in Television Graphics
  • VIZ-RT introduction to Live Television Graphics

Students will get training under graphic experts working with MediaOne TV channel. After the introductory classes student can select his/her own specialization area. During the culmination of the course, they will be given an assignment to produce a graphic design for MediaOne TV channel. They will be supervised by an expert from the graphics department. By the end of the course the students will become professional graphic designers having all the practical exposure required for the television industry.

 

New Media and Web Journalism
