Bachelor’s degree degree in any discipline Those in their Final Year of Graduation can also apply (Final year marksheet/proof of graduation has to be submitted by them before the completion of the course).
How to Apply
Application form can be downloaded from MediaOne Academy website. Completed application form along with processing fee of Rs.750, in the form of cash or Demand Draft in favour of MediaOne Academy, Kozhikode have to submit at the media school.
The following attested documents should be attached along with the application form
1.Date of Birth Certificate
2. Photocopies of mark sheets of the examinations passed
4. Passport size photograph pasted on application form
Candidates are required to submit a portfolio along with the application form consisting of evidence regarding participation in extracurricular and/or media related activities during their student days. The portfolio may include examples of their published writing, photographs, music, painting, certificates of dance or theatre performances, evidence of social work and any other creative activities.
The students are expected to attach photocopies of their works and certificates and not to append audio and video tapes with the portfolio. The original products or recorded examples of candidate’s work can be brought at the time of the interview for further consideration.
The selection for PG Diploma courses will be based on written test and interview. The written test will have multiple choice and descriptive questions related to GK, Current Affairs and Visual Media. Consecutively candidates have to appear for personal interview. The interview board will constitute from eminent personalities from media industry and representatives of the media school. The interview board will evaluate students based on their general knowledge, academic performance, portfolio and aptitude towards visual media.
