Following the footsteps, MBL Media School was established in 2010 to revolutionize media education by creating motivated, committed, professionally competent, highly skilled and socially conscious next-generation media practitioners. The Media School is committed to high standards in media research, production and teaching practices. Being a sister organization of MediaOne TV channel, MBL Media School provides a unique opportunity to students to utilize all technical facilities available at the channel for their training. These include state-of-the-art news studios, editing suites, shooting floors, production control room, master control room etc. Experienced and renowned media practitioners from MediaOne TV and Madhyamam newspaper take regular workshops for the students. During the course the students get the opportunity to take part in production activities of the channel such as news programmes, reality shows, etc. By the end of the course the students will not be just freshers but experienced professionals with all the competence required for the media industry.
The institute has an exclusive placement and marketing cell which works closely with the media industry to provide placement support to the students. Within a short period of commencement of the institute, more than thirty students have been placed in MediaOne and other TV channels. The institute guarantees internship to all students joining diploma and degree courses.
